51 Başkurt Türkçesi gramerlerinde fiiller, bilişsel süreç dikkate alı- narak sınıflandırılmamıştır. Fiiller; Başkurt Türkçesinde hareket (bar-, atla-, yüg ǐ r- vb), iş (işlä-, t ǚ ź-, uqı-, yaha- vb.), durum (yäşä-, ul- tır-, yat-), psikolojik ve fizyolojik durumu ifade etme (arı-, awır- vb.), düşünme (uyla-, aŋla-, t ǚ ş ǚ n- vb), duygu ve sezgi (ila-, yarat-, hiź-), anlatma h ǚ ylä-, äyt-, ǚ ndäş- vb.), taklidî fiiller (qaŋqılda- vb) olarak anlam özelliklerine göre ele alınmıştır. Bu çalışmada, Başkurt Türk- çesindeki mental fiiller tespit edilerek Başkurt Türklerinin düşünce dünyaları belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Verbs related to feelings, thoughts and perceptions have generally been called mental verbs (mind verbs). These verbs include many cognitive processes. Mental verbs; generally cognitive verbs, are de- alth with in three groups which are emotion verbs and perception verbs. In English cognitive verbs which are expressed by the term “cogni- tion verb” are classified as understanding, thinking, wishing, imagi- ning, estimating, forgetting and remembering. Sense verbs which consist the second stage of mental activity cons- titude another group of mental verbs. There are many verbs in the languages of all over the world which express emotions. Doubtfulness, fear, anxiety, jubilation, sadness, regretting which are feelings that come out during the mental processes are considered emotion verbs. Detection verbs also constitute mental process which are related the part of senses. Hearing, touching, smelling, tasting, seeing verbs are sensory perception verbs. In Bashkir Turkish grammar, the verbs aren’t classified according to considering the cognitive process. Verbs are studied by meaning properties in Bashkir Turkish like movement (bar-, atla-, yüg ǐ r- etc.), work (işlä-, t ǚ ź-, uqı-, yaha- etc.), manner (yäşä-, ultır-, yat- etc), exp- ressing psychologic and physiologic manner (arı-, awır- etc.), thinking (uyla-, aŋla-, t ǚ ş ǚ n- etc.), emotion and intuition (ila-, yarat-, hiź- etc.), expressing (h ǚ ylä-, äyt-, ǚ ndäş- etc.), imitation verbs (qaŋqılda- etc.). In this study was tried to determine the intellectual world of the Bashkir Turks by determining the mental verbs in Bashkir Turkısh.
