The III International Conference “Readings in memory of B. N. Melnichenko and S. E. Trifonov”
The III International Conference “Readings in memory of B. N. Melnichenko and S. E. Trifonov” will be held at Saint Petersburg State University from March, 14 to March, 15, 2025. Professor Boris Nikolaevich Melnichenko and Senior Lecturer Sergey Evgenievich Trifonov are well-known Russian scientists, they taught at the SPSU for many years and made a significant contribution to the study of Thailand and Laos, as well as to the strengthening of Russian-Thai relations.
The conference is to address a wide range of issues related to the study of Thailand. Russian and foreign researchers are invited to participate: representatives of the expert community, specialists in Thai studies, university teachers and researchers, postgraduate students, graduate and senior undergraduate students.
The event will be held in a mixed face-to-face and virtual (online) format. Working languages of the Conference: Russian, English and Thai. Time limit for presentation: 20 minutes (presenting and discussion). Following the conference, the Collection of articles will be published.
